HYGIENISTS
PAULINE HAMPTON. CEB Cert in Dental Hygiene (1979). GDC 1840
I qualified as a dental nurse in 1977 and then as a hygienist in 1979. I gained a Diploma in Dental Health Education in 1983 and in the same year joined Heathwood Dental Practice. My role as a hygienist has changed and grown over the years – from working part-time to fit in with my husband and two daughters, to gaining additional training to keep abreast of new ideas, materials and procedures.
I have really enjoyed being a member of the Heathwood Dental team for the last 35+ years and hope this continues for many years to come. I love meeting and working with people – it’s the best part of the job.
I am originally from Cardiff, and qualified as a Dental Hygienist at Bristol Dental School in 1994. Prior to this I qualified as a Dental Nurse and Dental Technician with Distinctions.
I have gained vast experience working at UCH London and since then several Private Practices specialising in Implantology, periodontology, orthodontics, tooth whitening and general dentistry.
I am particularly keen on enhancing my knowledge of gum disease and the treatment needed to help patients maintain healthy teeth and gums
I has worked in many countries including Dubai, Germany, Guernsey and Jersey.
Outside of work, I enjoy travelling and experiencing different countries and cultures. When relaxing i enjoy spending time with family and friends, eating out and long walks.
